The board stabilization release: card placement is a fact, not a coordinate coincidence.

New

·A card in a column is in the column. Every card now has exactly one placement: free at a point, or in a column at an index. Moving, resizing, or collapsing a column carries its cards perfectly, every time. Deleting a column sets its cards free exactly where they were.

·Cards are index cards. 300×180 landscape with bigger type: about a hundred words, which is what a filled-out index card holds. The body fills the card instead of stopping at four lines.

·Export lives in the header. A plain clickable word after the board tabs, ⌘E still works. The floating pill read as a canvas object and sat where cards want to be.

Improved

·The invisible drag fence is gone. Nothing clamps a drag anymore: drop a card anywhere and the canvas grows to fit; past the top or left edge the whole board quietly re-homes so nothing jumps.

·Big boards scroll smoothly. The dotted grid draws only the patch coming into view, and a card lays out a short excerpt rather than its full text. Nothing looks different; there was never room on a card for more.

Fixed

·Hidden files can't hide your boards. iCloud sometimes marks synced files as hidden, and a board with that mark silently vanished from every listing while its file sat on disk. All listings see them now.

Boards as tabs, and a bench that behaves.

New

·Your boards are tabs. Boards sit on the titlebar now — click to switch, + for a new one, right-click for Rename, Export, Reveal, and Remove. The sidebar is retired and the canvas gets the whole window.

·A new icon and calmer chrome. An icon that follows macOS’s Icon & widget style, including dark, and one calm titlebar matching the rest of the suite.

Fixed

·Cards stay put. A column growing to receive a drop could quietly claim a neighbouring card, and reopening a board could pile untouched cards in the corner. Placed is placed now.

·The bench really is endless. Dragging a card to the window’s edge scrolls the bench with it, and you can always scroll a full screen past your farthest card.

·Expand any card. Click a card’s body to open it full-size for focused writing, with a quick color picker right on the card.

·Templates & a welcome board. Every template now opens with example cards, and a new Welcome board walks you through the basics (revisit it from the Help menu).

·Choose your editor font. Pick the writing font you like in Settings → Editor.

·Columns & stacks. Reorder cards inside a column, fan out a stack, and move a whole column — notes and all — to another board.

·Much faster on big boards. Scrolling large boards is now smooth, with off-screen cards culled as you pan.

·A spatial board. Arrange cards on a pannable dot-grid surface. Drag them freely, or snap them into labeled columns and rows.

·Stacks and containers. Gather cards into stacks, or drop them into columns and rows that auto-size and clean up without overlaps.

·Grows from Seed. Pull ripe ideas from a Seed garden onto the board as cards, then shape them into sequence.

·Export anywhere. Send a board out as Markdown, PDF, CSV, OPML, or plain text.
